SHIKONGO WINS SILVER IN T11 400M MEN
Ananias Shikongo and his Guide Sem Shimanda bring Silver medal for their performance in the 400m T11. They finished in 51.14s.
It was an impressive upgrade on the bronze won at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games where he won a landmark treble, which so included gold and a games record in the 200m.
The trouble maker, now has four medals at the Paralympic Games, and has become Namibia’s joint record holder for the most medals at an Olympic competition.
He shares the status with another legendary Frank Fredericks who medalled four times at theOlympics.
The podium felt warm, when the Honorable Deputy Minister Emma Kantema-Gaomas handed over the medals to the medal winners.
